        • About the Scholarship

The Dan Calugar Finance Scholarship empowers students interested in studying finance to pursue higher learning. The Scholarship program awards a full-year tuition scholarship for a state-sponsored college or university to a student who has high academic credentials and who desires to seek a degree in finance, computer science, or mathematics. If you are awarded the Scholarship, we will pay the college or university registrar the full cost of your tuition for the full academic year that is not otherwise paid for by a government-based program.

          Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:

          • To be eligible for the Scholarship you must be accepted for enrollment in a college or university, and you must be either a finance major or in a degree program (such as computer science or mathematics) that is consistent with a career in finance or investment analysis.
          • You must be willing to provide proof of your college registration and your current GPA for your college work to date, or if you will be a college freshman provide proof of your GPA for 10th grade through high school graduation.

          Guidelines

We hope to benefit a student who has demonstrated strong academic achievement from high school forward and who has a good chance of success in college.

For that reason, in the form below, please submit (1) your high school GPA, (2) your GPA for any college courses you have taken to date, and (3) your SAT score.

We also ask you to provide a short description in 2000 words or less of your academic and career goals. This essay must be submitted prior to the application deadline.
